Full Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Desk / Sales Manager to join our team in Gilmer, Texas. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and enjoys leading a sales team to success. You’ll be responsible for desking deals, coaching salespeople, and ensuring profitable, customer-focused transactions in both new and pre-owned departments.

Responsibilities

· • Desk and structure deals to maximize front-end and back-end gross profit.

• Submit deals to lenders and ensure accurate, timely funding.

· • Take TOs (turnovers) promptly to assist the sales team in closing deals.

· • Negotiate sales terms while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

· • Help manage and price inventory with store leadership.

· • Train, motivate, and support the sales team for consistent performance.

· • Maintain a professional image and strong follow-up discipline.

· • Contribute new ideas and proven processes to drive dealership growth.

Qualifications

· • Minimum 3 years of automotive sales or management experience.

· • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team.

· • Strong knowledge of deal structure, desking, and lender guidelines.

· • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

· • Ability to take quality TOs and support salespeople effectively.

· • Professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude.

· • Solid understanding of dealership operations and sales principles.

Compensation & Benefits

· • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses.

· • Annual earning potential between $80,000 and $130,000+.
